Radical transformation delivering an unrecognisable and sustainable home

Never one to shy away from a challenge Absolute Architecture did just that and updated the home from top to bottom. We completely altered the internal configuration, refigured external balconies and dramatically improved the performance of the house with a complete exterior sustainable retrofit. Constricted by the site being a flood plain, we strategically altered the external steps and created beautiful landscaping to ensure better connection between the house and the garden.

Location: Maidenhead

Materials: Insulated render and triple glazing were used to improve the performance of the house. Charred timber cladding finished off the complete exterior transformation.

Clever aspects: Removing all traces of the 1980s build and delivering a radical transformation that could be mistaken for a completely new build.
